I’ve seen first-hand the complexity of navigating school life and friendships from both perspectives.

Navigating school life, friendships, and academic pressure is complex. While some schools provide strong support, it’s not always sufficient.
Increasing expectations and exam stress can overwhelm even the most capable students.
Friendship dynamics and peer relationships can significantly impact wellbeing and confidence.
Social media and digital interactions create new layers of complexity and stress.
When things feel overwhelming, it’s easy to lose sight of goals and purpose.
Setbacks and comparisons can erode self-belief and willingness to try.
Young people need space to pause, reflect, and clarify their own path forward.
As a parent and experienced educator, I have seen first-hand the complexity of navigating school life and friendships. Young people face significant academic, social and on-line pressures, and while some schools provide strong support, this is not always consistent or sufficient.
Coaching is non-judgemental. It offers young people the opportunity to pause and think deeply about their goals, priorities, and next steps.
In coaching sessions, I listen carefully and use thoughtful prompting and questioning to help clients clarify what “better” looks like for them and how they can move purposefully towards that vision.
Coaching is strengths-based, helping young people feel positive about themselves and confident in their ability to take constructive action.
The involvement of parents or carers is guided by the needs and wishes of each client. Sessions can take place in my home or online.
In-Person or Online, sessions either at my home in Earlsdon, Coventry or flexible virtual sessions.

Everything you need to know about my coaching sessions
My expertise is supporting clients who have lost confidence and/or motivation. It is important to say that coaching only works if the client themselves wants to make changes.
Coaching is goal-oriented, helping individuals improve performance, build skills, and move toward personal goals. Counselling generally focuses on emotional wellbeing and mental health. It might involve exploring past and present experiences to help people cope with psychological distress.
Either at my house in Earlsdon or online. Other arrangements may be possible – please do ask.
I would recommend six sessions – but this could vary.
Sessions cost £30 per hour. To be paid in advance of the session.
Full fee charged if cancellation occurs within 24 hours before the appointment.
